I started writing The Signal because most of the Power Platform content I read is either too shallow to be useful or too promotional to be honest.

After twenty years working inside organisations like Canadian Tire, CIBC, Metrolinx, OAG Ontario, and Air Canada — and now running my own consulting practice — I have accumulated opinions about what works, what does not, and what the official documentation glosses over.

This blog is where I write those opinions down.

What I write about

Primarily Power Platform — architecture, governance, ALM, and the adoption challenges that matter more than the technical ones. Also Copilot Studio, Microsoft Fabric, SharePoint modernisation, and the realities of building an independent consulting practice in the Microsoft ecosystem.

I try to write what I would want to read: specific, honest, and useful without being either a tutorial or a press release.

MindLab Systems

MindLab Systems is my consulting practice, based in Ontario, Canada. We specialise in enterprise automation and intelligent solutions — Power Platform governance, CoE setup, ALM, Copilot Studio deployment, and Microsoft Fabric for Canadian organisations.

If you are working on something in this space and want to talk, the best way to reach me is paras@mindlab.co.

Community

I have been active in the Power Platform community for most of my career — speaking at conferences, contributing to forums, and running user groups. I believe the community is one of the most valuable things about this ecosystem and I try to give back to it consistently.

The Signal publishes every Tuesday. Articles are written for practitioners who already know what Power Platform is and want to go deeper — not for people learning the basics.
